How To Know Christ Better

Upon the start of 2021, I was deeply pondering a succinct answer to this question....How Can I Know Christ better?  Up to this juncture, despite personally witnessing Godly parents living out their faith, I developed a meaningless "see you at the next crisis" relationship with God. While watching Christian TV, I acknowledged I was a sinner in need of a Saviour.  By proclaming this, I desired to repent from my sins, to change, and to solidify my life via the power of the Holy Spirit. It commemces with an unwavering faith.  Let's take Nicodemus, for example, he knew Jesus had come from God, and developed a peculiar interested in learning more about Jesus.  Lovingly, Jesus explained you must be "born again" by the Holy Spirit.

What does it mean to be 'born again"?  According to a recent article I was reading, it starts with faith and the abundant power of the Holy Spirit.  He creates a yearning to learn about God's character, and His will as stated in 1st Corithians 2:10. Your discernment evolves around the Holy Spirit, which is referred to as the"Spiritual" man instead of the "natural"man.  The "Spirit" man saturates their lives with the Word of God, prayerfully increasing their faith, obeying the "voice" and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and thanking God for His works.  In addition to this, the "Spiritual" man fellowships with other believers so as to learn and nurture one another.

In summary, we must accept Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour, delve into His Word, daily be filled with the Holy Spirit, succomb to God through prayer, have saintly fellowship with other saints.
